ABOUT
I’m a hairdresser and makeup artist based in Melbourne (Australia) and have worked professionally in the entertainment industry for 18 years. I built upon the salon training of my hairdressing apprenticeship by completing a Diploma of Entertainment Makeup, and I’m always trying to enhance my skills through ongoing industry education. I’ve also had tremendous opportunities to work and learn alongside the very best make up artists, make up designers, and production companies in Australia and New Zealand.
The body of my work has been in film and television drama. I also freelance with the 'free to air' television broadcasters and in advertising which covers television commercials, editorials, publicity stills, fashion shoots and special events. I’ve travelled extensively to participate in world-class feature films shot in a variety of Australian locations and have had great opportunities working on international sets in New Zealand, Fiji, Vietnam, and dressing tresses in London's iconic shopping strip The Stand.
The calibre of the hair and makeup designers I've worked with have taught me the importance of having the integrity and reliability. I strive hard to produce creative and visually accurate solutions to every design brief. I love the challenges of every aspect of hair and makeup artistry. I live by the beach and I love nature. My passion for the 'green beauty’ movement means that I'm committed to using and sourcing natural and organic products that have a low toxic/chemical load, are environmentally friendly, and cruelty-free as much possible. Quality is an important element in my professional outlook so my hair and makeup kit is always well-stocked with high-performance products that help me to execute flawless results every time.
